Sometimes I like to curl up with a blankie and read a book?er?my Kindle. Especially during storms or cold weather. I may be reading a story about a woman who accidentally travels backwards 200 years in Scotland, or the latest understandings of how quantum physics plays a role in our everyday world. Sometimes I like to watch something that is deep & meaningful, and other times something stupid & funny. I love seeing a movie at the theaters, but if nothing good is playing then I have no problem being all cozy at home & watching one. I prefer my time to be at home, but I do have to get out regularly so that I?m able to enjoy the time when I am home. I love to spend time with those I?m closest to, and when I?m not doing that I thoroughly enjoy the time to myself. I love when I happen to be listening to just the right song. I love to sing while in the car alone, and it?s very satisfying to me to be able to play the songs I like on an instrument like my keyboard. Sometimes I like to talk for hours about the meaning of the universe. Or maybe a few minutes about ordinary everyday things. Other times I may spend long periods being quiet and contemplating about those same things, usually while doing housework. I like to kick someone?s butt on the Wii or more likely I?m getting my butt kicked in Halo. I love when I get into a fit of giggles with my teenage son over something juvenile like a series of fart jokes. I like to learn about different cultures in the world. I have a running list in my head of the different places I plan on visiting one day. It is fascinating to me to see the world through the eyes of another person living in other places. I make attempts (many) to learn some basics of any given language so that I don?t have to rely on subtitles. I love to learn about the things that have happened in the history of a culture or even individuals to better understand why they are like they are. The History channel is frequently on in our house. Alternating between that and whichever Family Guy is on at the time. Sometimes it?s just on in the background while I research a random question that popped into my head while watching it.
