I could make a long list of my fine qualities and you might then think I am a cross between a golden retriever and a girl scout. 😉 I have not traveled to faraway places, experienced climbing a ?14?er or had an exotic career. I have, however, made great friends, found fabulous mentors and lived my life to my best abilities. I have laughed almost every day and cried when appropriate. It has been a year since I sent my son off to college. I am now thinking about how great it would be to have a special someone in my life again. I am a LandsEnd girl and love my kids, my pets, my bed, getting up early, classical/jazz/good old rock and roll, great food, dear friends, a starry sky, LAUGHING ALOT, comfy clothes, quiet time, hot showers, hugs, great coffee, road trips, smelling the roses, going barefoot, shorts and T-shirts and Big Sur. In my free time one might be able to find me in a bookstore, museum or gallery, at the symphony, at the local marina, flea market, farmers market or someplace cool to people watch, or maybe in my bed with a good book or the kitchen checking how the cookies are doing. As an early bird I love watching the sky change color in the early morning. I have always believed in a higher power/guide and I have learned well from my mistakes. It has taken a very long time for me to come around and not think I can always take care of things my way. I am comfortable in my own skin and ready to step lightly into another relationship. We are not 22 anymore; our bodies have settled, our hair has thinned, etc. I am not tall, thin and blond and you may not be either and that is OK. I need a smile in one?s eyes and the truth on ones lips and laughter in ones heart.
