What are the requirements I should follow when creating a user name?
A user name is a required component of your profile. It’s a unique word or phrase that you select that will be visible to other users as a form of identification on the site. Your user name should not correspond in any way to your identity outside of this site. It is important to maintain your privacy and anonymity until you decide to reveal your identity to other members. See “Writing Your Profile” and “Safety Tips”.
Your user name must meet the following guidelines for approval:
Do not include any language that could be considered defamatory or offensive in any way (e.g., sexually explicit, promotes racism, references to inflicting bodily harm to yourself or others, etc.) and it must be at least 3 characters long.
